Wyndcrest Holdings has named Raymond DuBois chairman of Wyndcrest’s senior advisory group on military training and simulation. The company also announced that James Peppler joined the company as director of military affairs, overseeing the daily operations of Wyndcrest’s emerging military simulation business.

Colonel Ben Wash has reported for duty as deputy director for military affairs in the offi ce of the deputy under secretary of defense (readiness)/RTPP.


Michael Bodé has joined Bohemia Interactive Simulations as its new chief operations officer. Most recently he was executive producer for America’s Army 3 and he currently serves as vice chairman of the new Games and Technology Standards Committee for IEEE.


Roger Smith, Ph.D., chief technology officer, U.S. Army PEO STRI, received the 2009 Association for Computing Machinery Special Interest Group on Simulation and Modeling Distinguished Contributions Award.


Vcom3D announced the addition of Joseph Rosen, M.D., to its advisory board.


NGRAIN announced that Troy Welch is the director of its new Richmond, Va. office.


The National Center for Simulation has announced that it has hired retired Air Force Lieutenant General Tom Baptiste as its president and executive director. Baptiste brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic vision to the world-renowned simulation center.
