Brigadier General Jeffrey B. Kendall, deputy director, intelligence, operations and nuclear integration for flying training, Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, has been assigned as commander, 502nd Air Base Wing, Air Education and Training Command, Lackland Air Force Base.


 

Captain Michael S. White, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as chief operating officer, N7, Naval Education and Training Command, Norfolk, Va. White is currently serving as division director for the Aviation Career Management Division, PERS 43, Navy Personnel Command.

 


 

Air Force Colonel Mark C. Nowland has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Nowland is serving as the commander, 71st Flying Training Wing, Air Education and Training Command, Vance Air Force Base, Okla.

 


 

Brigadier General Richard C. Longo, director of training, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3/5/7, U. S. Army, has received orders to report for duty as deputy chief of staff, operations and training, U. S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Monroe.

 


 

Brigadier General Bradley W. May, commanding general, U.S. Army Basic Combat Training Center of Excellence and Fort Jackson, Fort Jackson, S.C., will report for duty as director, Iraq Training and Advisory Team, U.S. Forces-Iraq.

 


 

Brigadier General Andrew M. Mueller, deputy commander, Combined Air Operations Center 6, Allied Air Forces Southern Europe, North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Eskisehir, Turkey, will report for duty as commander, 81st Training Wing, Air Education and Training Command, Keesler Air Force Base.

 


Major General Dana J. H. Pittard, deputy chief of staff, operations and training, U. S. Army Training and Doctrine Command will report for duty as senior commander for Fort Bliss.

 


 

Brigadier General Leonard A. Patrick, commander, 502nd Air Base Wing, Air Education and Training Command, Lackland Air Force Base, will report for duty as commander, Kandahar Air Field, U.S. Forces Afghanistan, Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Game Production Services announced that Mark Nausha has joined their company as director, Business Development. Nausha, formerly president and CEO of Stray Bullet Games and director of development at Sony Online Entertainment, where he was in charge of Everquest and Everquest II, has had a productive career in the game industry.

 


 

Cerys Goodall is the new public relations manager at Ngrain. Goodall brings to her position significant media relations experience within the training industry. Chris Hawkins is the new director of U.S. Sales, Ngrain. Hawkins was formerly the director of Sales at AEgis, the COO at Boston Dymanics, and vice president, Sales and Marketing at Multigen-Paradigm.

 


 

Antonio Colón, CEO of Combat Training Solutions, has been named the 2010 Colorado Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. This annual award recognizes small business owners in each state who demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and honor their commitment to the community.
