Antycip To Support Spanish Army LVC Training Solutions
Antycip Simulation Ltd (Antycip Simulation), a subsidiary of ST Electronics (Training & Simulation Systems) Pte Ltd, announced that the Spanish Army has selected its Open Architecture Product Suite as a backbone framework to construct their next generation of live, virtual and constructive training solutions. At the heart of this suite is VT MÄK’s (MÄK) leading Computer Generated Forces (CGF), VR-Forces, as well as MÄK’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution, B-HAVE, and Scalable Network Technologies’s QualNet. Another first included in this suite is Antycip Simulation’s recently launched forefront doctrines generation solution, MyBehaviour.
MyBehaviour is a behavior authoring software product designed to help training and simulation organizations quickly generate military doctrines in their simulation applications. It offers a capability, with an easy-to-use and intuitive graphical user interface to quickly generate and re-use doctrines for training and simulation applications.
Gaël Ramaen, Antycip spokesperson, noted that in the past, training and simulation companies / defense department and ministries of defense had difficulties building up doctrines and authoring military behaviors. “It was time consuming, taking a lot of resources and rarely reusable. What we tried to do with MyBehaviour is to package a solution (COTS) that provides users and companies making simulators and training systems an easy to use tool to make these behaviors, and reuse them project after project,” he said. Ramaen continued, “We have analyzed that it is 10 times faster to build a doctrine with MyBehaviour than it would take scripting them with code (for a beginner). The good thing of this is also the reusability part: in MyBehaviour, we have included a type of library that allows the doctrines storage to be easier and more organized. These doctrines are easy to find and can be merged together for the creation of advanced behaviors.” ♦
